New Zelda Game and Some Zelda Cosplay

The new Zelda game, Breath of the Wild, came out last Friday with all new monsters, new characters and a much larger look at the beautiful Hyrule landscape.

This new game is also going to be big on the cosplay front. For the first time Link gets a far more detailed look with the option to change dye your clothes to match your whimsy. He also has a myriad of new weapons from burning torches to the Great Thunderblade. In short, cosplaying Link is finally going to be something more than a green tunic and hat.

While we anxiously await to see what awesome costumes the new game will bring, let's take a look at some wonderful cosplay from past games.

Zelda always gets a new look in each game (including leaving the dress behind in favor of something more practical in Breath of the Wild.)

10 Incredible Dog Costumes

Trinity Element's own Cosplay Dog, Storm, really isn't much for cosplay. She is more into the shredding of costumes. But the following 10 dogs you are about to see are lucky enough to don the most incredible pieces of canine cosplay.

We raised the bar pretty high went starting off with this incredible dragon armor. All together now - WOW!

Keeping on the "armor for dogs" theme, this incredible set was created by Organic Armor.

If you want your dog to sneak into a herd of baby camels, this is the costume for you. This is actually an incredible grooming job more than an actual costume and was done by Sandra Hartness for her poodle, Cindy.

OK, so we know this is a bread product, not a costume. But, let's face it - this is too cute not to share!

Yes, there is actually a dog in this costume. (No, really!) Head on over to Instuctables and see how user Rogue Siren made this amazing costume for her dog.

This realistic Pokemon Umbreon was created by Clarissa (aka Milieu) for her dog, Jaguar. Well, we are guessing it is realistic - we have never actually seen and Umbreon in real life before. But if we had, we are guessing this would be spot on!

If the Empire had pets, they might look like this. This detailed AT-AT costume was designed by Katie Mello for her dog, Bones. Her Facebook photos even show some of the steps taken to create this one-of-a-kind costume. 

Keeping with the Star Wars theme - believe it or not there is a pug in this Bantha costume. Every year, StarWarsChick01 creates a different amazing Star Wars themed costume for her pug, Chubbs.

Photographer Peter Thorpe sends out yearly Christmas cards starring his dogs, Paddy and Raggle. Each theme not only includes a great dog costume, but also a terrific set as well.

These Pugs of Westeros, Roxy, Blue, and Bono, belong to photographers Phillip and Susan Lauer. Their website, Pupstar Sonoma, is full of not only amazing puggy costumes, but incredible sets as well.
